Some fun stamps

 These are Pure Innocense for My Favorite Things.  I used Copics and paper piecing.  The paper is so fun too.  It is Authentique.  I really loved the colors.  This first card was done for a friend at work for her birthday.

 This card was done for my Mom.  I used paper pieces on the t-shirt and shorts and copics to color the rest.  The sun is a little flower stamp. Clouds are Memory Box dies. 

This stamp set is by Unity.  I used Copics and the flower punch and Memory Dies again.

Some more Cards

This card is a photo that I found online and really liked.  The Hey There is Paper Smooches. 

I really like this Memory Box die cut.  The Thanks is Stampin Up.

I based this card on one that I found on Pinterest.  The Thank You is Purple Onion Designs.  I made the little Flower out of some old yarn.

The flower is done with some fibers and I rolled the middle with another piece of fiber.  The sentiment is Paper Artsy.

This card was done for an anniversary of a friend's parents.  The airplane, banner and sentiment are Prickly Pear Stamps.  Used a Memory Box die. 

Some Pinning and some Art to Abandon

These first two cards are based on some cards that I found on Pinterest.  The flower is my design.  I drew it out and then cut from Basic Grey.  Added some ink stitches.  The Sentiment is Purple Onion Designs.  Made the banner by positioning in square punch and cutting.  

 This card is my take on a pinterest card.  I cut out a piece of paper to cover cardstock with an oval in the middle and sponged blue, green and yellow dye inks only into the oval.  The butterfly is Close to My Heart.  The sentiment is Stamping Up.  I drew in the grass using a Copic Marker. 

This is a little piece of art that I did.  It really captures the personality of my little Maggie.  Maggie image is based on drawings I have seen on the Internet.  The sentiment is Eat Cake Graphics.  I colored with Tombow Markers using them as watercolors. 

 These next three pieces are ones  did for a project called Art Abandonment.  This where you create a piece of art and leave it somewhere for someone to find and enjoy.  It is a group on FaceBook.   The first two are based on an image I found on the Internet.  The third is using the same flower design that I used for the card above.  I painted the first two using Tombow Markers as watercolors.  The third is done using acrylic paints.  The canvas size is 3x3.

For this one, the stamps are all Stamping Up.  Use Copics to color. 

 Very little Stamping.  Used an embossing folder and a sentiment stamp (Stampin Up)

 No stamping on the front.  The cupcakes is made using punches and I hand sewed the candles.

This is the inside of the card above.  I just liked the way it turned out.

My Take on a Michelle Zindorf Card

This is my take on a Michelle Zindorf card for Mike for Father's Day.  Her's is more artistic, no Maggie dog and package and not at all cutezee. Used Mellow Moss, More Mustard and Soft Suede to sponge on wall color, flooring and floor shadow.  All Stamps are Stampin Up.  Colored Maggie dog, package and picture frame with Copics.  Chair is stamped with Chocolate Chip and then filled in with Copic Markers.

More Cards

This card is a lift of one that I found on Pinterest.  Sent it off to a wonderful friend who had surgery.  The only stamp is the heart which is Purple Onion Designs.  I drew out the Bandaid.

This is another card I borrowed the design from Pinterest.  I did change it a wee bit. Sent it out for a Graduation Card. Stamps are all Stampin Up. 

This card is for my wonderful Aunt who sent me a little tote bag from London that has a picture of an adorable Westie on it.  I hand drew the Westie using Kim Niles as my inspiratio.  The stamps are the heart and sentiment which are both Stampin Up.  Colored with Copics.

Every now and then...

I do some original work of my own.  This little card is a thank you for my Aunt Mary Beth for the lovely dinner I had at her house just recently.  The Prickley Pear stamp is one that I got recently at a show.  I added the little worm.  The Thank You is Purple Onion Design.  The inside says - For the Grub.  Get it grub (food), grub (worm), chicks eat worms.

My take on some Pinterest Finds

Found some inspiration out on Pinterest.  Normally I don't like to lift others work but these were so darling.  I did put my own slant on some of them. 

 Used The Angel Company Stamps on this one.  Unfortunately, TAC went out of business.  Used Tombow markers as watercolors.  Love the vivid look with this technique. 

 This was done as a Christmas card.  I replicated exactly just used different embossing folders and changed color and sentiment.  What a great design this is.  Sentiment is Stampin Up.

 This was another darling card I found.  I made bigger, used CTMH, Purple Onion Design and Stampin Up stamps.  Colored with Copics.

 Very close to the original.  What a fun card to send someone who just had surgery.  The heart stamp is is Purple Onion Design. 

 I loved the original and just had to have this snowman.  He was so dang cute.  Snowman is Penny Black, Sentiment is Unity and Tree is Stamping Up. Colored with Copic. 

This card is very loosely based on one I pinned.  The Snowman is Whipper Snapper, Joy is Purple Onion Designs.  Colored with Copic.

Moving

Had to move to accomodate some updates happening here.  Had a heck of a time trying to get my old blogged moved.  Totally gave up and will start all over again.
